The group meets on the 1st Friday in each month. We try to vary the subject and content each month to appeal to a broad range of interests. Our main aim is to explore different areas of London, mainly on foot, and discover fascinating aspects of our history and heritage. Distance of walks ranges between 2 and 5 miles. The shorter walks will often encapsulate a special interest visit in the afternoon. On some occasions u3a members will lead the walks, otherwise professional guides, mainly of Blue Badge standard, will be used.

Outings may be advertised in the bimonthly newsletter and the events page of this website. Bookings are taken and any necessary fees paid for at each monthly meeting, if you are unable to attend this meeting alternative arrangements can be made. In the event of inclement weather fees are not refundable. Fees normally will not include entrance fees (where due) to places of interest.
