2nd Monday of the Month, in the Village Hall during autum/winter. Trips out in the summer
Venue: Sarratt Village Hall

The Gardening Group is an open group so any of our u3a members are welcome to join us. It doesn't matter whether or not you have a garden of your own, many of us share an interest in nature and the importance of gardens and open spaces for our welfare as well as in encouraging diversity of wildlife and plants. We enjoy visits out during the summer and talks in the Village Hall during Autumn/Winter. Previous trips have been to Savill Gardens, Hyde Hall. NT Mottisfont and Borde Hill. At other times we organise smaller outings more locally where we share cars - for example we visited the Jazzy Rose Flower Farm in Chipperfield and a private garden, Cedar House, as part of the NGS open garden scheme.

Organisation of our activities is a team effort and we have already organised trips for this year, including a coach trip to Barnsdale, home of the late Geoff Hamilton. See also the events page for information.
