The Gardening Group is an open group so any of our u3a members are welcome to join us. It doesn't matter whether or not you have a garden of your own, many of us share an interest in nature and the importance of gardens and open spaces for our welfare as well as in encouraging diversity of wildlife and plants. We enjoy visits out during the summer and talks in the Village Hall during Autumn/Winter.

Organisation of our activities is a team effort and there have been some lovely Garden Group outdoor trips this year which started in April with a visit to Church Gardens near Harefield, in May we went to Lindengate Gardens near Wendover, in June to Barnsdale Garden in Rutland, July to Wind in the Willows, all different and all of them highlights in many ways. Our last outdoor visit for this year will be to Thundridge Hill House near Ware.
