At each meeting members bring their choice of music on CDs to share with the group. We are a sociable bunch,  breaking for refreshments and a chat – mostly about any musical events we have attended or forthcoming  ones. Each meeting is related to a theme – for example, we discussed “Divas” and how they are defined, and are about to embark on music about the sea – shanties anyone? Recent themes have included trains and boats and planes, weather, the seasons and holidays, whilst “Strings” ranged from Little Richard, the Shadows, Eric Clapton and Brian May through Django Reinhardt, Craig Ogden, John Williams and Nigel Kennedy to Catrin Finch, Nichola Benedetti and Yehudi Menuhin.

We would welcome some more members to widen our musical experiences. The group meets on the 4th Monday of each month at members' homes between 2.30pm and 4.30pm. New members are welcome to join us.
