Committee meetings take place every two months (with coffee and biscuits!) so if any members have matters that you wish us to discuss please let our Chairman know. Members are welcome (by arrangement) to come to a committee meeting as an observer to see what we do.

Committee Responsibilities:
- Governance:
Overseeing the overall management and strategic direction of the u3a - Charitable Objectives:
Ensuring that all activities align with the u3a’s charitable purposes and benefit the public. - Financial Management:
Safeguarding the organisation’s finances, ensuring funds are used appropriately and effectively. - Compliance:
Adhering to the u3a’s governing documents and relevant laws, acting in the charity’s best interests. - Accountability:
Being accountable for the u3a’s actions, managing resources responsibly, and acting with care and skill. - Risk Management:
Identifying and mitigating risks to protect the charity’s assets and prevent loss or fraud.
