Lindengate was set up near Wendover with the idea of providing horticultural therapy for local adults with mental health issues.  In 2013 they asked a local garden centre for help and were offered some scrubby land which took a major volunteer effort to clear.  Today the work continues, offering horticultural therapy support and work for a wide range of adults and young people who are impacted daily by their mental health needs.   ‘The secret garden is now a stunning six acre wildlife garden with a Heritage Orchard, Nature Reserve, Kitchen Gardens and 2 RHS Chelsea Gold Award Winning Exhibits’.

Located next to the Blue Diamond Garden Centre it is handy for a spot of plant hunting and there is a café too if you want to stay for lunch. This visit will be by car share. There are some spaces available on this group tour.
