The group members have a wide range of experience and knowledge which has created a very enthusiastic group. During their outings there have been sightings of birds that many members have not seen before. The record number of species identified in one day is 58

The group meets once a month, normally on the third Monday on some pre-arranged visits to RSPB sites, nature reserves, wild life trust sites and various local bird watching areas. Generally the sites are within 1 hour drive.
